Princess Eugenie was recently wed at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. There’s always big names and big styles when it comes to a royal wedding. While most eyes were on the happy couple and their celebration, we want to take a few moments to appreciate the styled looks of the guests that attended the special event.
Also known as Fergie, and the Mother of the Bride. She arrived at her daughter’s wedding in a lovely green dress. Long sleeves with a short length provide a nice contrast. The wrap detail and satin lapel make the look super flattering. To add a bit of flair the dress was accented with a small train. She paired the dress with a wide-brim green hat completed with a gilded bow.
She took a style risk and it paid off! She attended the wedding in well-tailored black tuxedo tails. Her cropped jacket and ankle-length trousers were right on point. The white button-down, silk cummerbund and silver tie brought the classic look together. The black pumps add a feminine flair and to add drama to the look a top hat and a match in the corner of her mouth.
We can’t leave out the most important guest of them all - the bride herself! Wearing a dress that was designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos. The gown featured a fitted bodice and full pleated skirt. The neckline folded down around the shoulders to a low back that draped into a flowing full length train. The gown also featured symbols that are important to the bride. These included a Thistle for Scotland, a Shamrock for Ireland, the York Rose and ivy to represent the couple’s home. Princess Eugenie’s look was completed with the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara, which was lent to her by the queen.
Of course there were many smartly dressed guests. Of those, there was Naomi Campbell with a sparkling tweed dress featuring feather detailing, black leather gloves, and a sculptural black fascinator. Kate Moss rocked a black and white polka dot look with a black fascinator and veil. And her daughter, Lila Moss wore a pale pink dress and a matching floral headband, topping off her look with a glam black fur jacket.
